A debate erupted about the question wether fascist campaigning material should be treated equal. For instance in Jena the NPD posters wishing 'foreigners' a good journey home was changed in 'welcome in Jena!'. But some people thought fascist propaganda should be destroyed, not changed.

In some places the propaganda-table the NPD tried to set op, was stampeded. In Kiel an NPD-meeting was covered with egs and tomatoes and ended in chaos as police even used teargas to try to protect the fascists.

Election adbusts also happened in Belgium.

The only place in the world where there was a pro-EU-demonstration was Giessen, where they had a Jubel-demonstration with slogans like EU Bombs are Good!
