In der Rohrpost-Mailingliste hat sich am 19.6. 2004 ein leopold blum [onomastikNOSPAM@braan.org] seinen Frust mit den Künstlern und den ganzen Netzkultur-Heinis vom Leibe geschrieben:

"Bis vor einem Jahrtausend konnten unter Verweis auf reale Phänomene
Debatten über den Zusammenhang von Subkultur und Dissidenz,
Verweigerung, Systemkritik geführt werden, ohne allzu absurd zu
erscheinen. Mehr und mehr diffundieren aber seitdem
widerwärtig-reaktionäre Elemente in die als heile Welt gedachte
Netzkultur. Der postmoderne Differenzkapitalismus löst ständig
Identitäten aus und setzt sie zusammen. Symbole und Codes sind die
Foltern, auf denen diese Identitäten produziert werden und sich selber
ständig neu generieren. Da das flexibilisierte Subjekt die Kraft der
Negation einbüßt, gewinnen Kategorien wie Distanz etc. neue
Bedeutungsrahmen. Eine Trennung von Netzkultur und Mainstream ist unter
den Aspekten der strittigen Verwohlfeilerung der Distinktionsmittel
kaum mehr aufrechtzuerhalten. Sie löst sich hin zu einer Transparenz
von Mainstream und sich subkulturell inszenierender Milieus auf.
Mittels der Waren, immer schon Teil der Netzkultur, werden dissidente
Milieus marktförmig zugerichtet, ihre Codes enteignet und gegen sie
gewendet. Ausgehend vom Verhältnis Krise und Nationalismus lassen sich
die institutionalen Identitätsfindungsdebatten bearbeiten, die in einen
gesamtgesellschaftlichen Diskurs eingebettet sind. Hierbei ist erstens
die Konstituierung einer flexibilisierten Subversion, sowie postmoderne
Vergemeinschaftungspraktiken in einem globalisierten Netz entscheidend,
und zweitens die Veränderung kultureller Praxis hin zu einem
transzendenzialen totalitären Multimedia-Eventionalismus. Zentral
stellt sich hierin die Frage, inwieweit die neue deutsche Welle auf
andere Debatten dieser Art zu beziehen ist und welche Rolle den
subalternen netzkulturellen Milieus beizumessen ist, in denen sich die
ProtagonistInnen selbst verorten. Denn: KünstlerInnen verarbeiten in
ihren Texten, sofern es sich nicht um übergeordnete Kategorien wie die
Rohrpost etc. handelt, die jeweiligen Debatten der Milieus oder Szenen,
in denen sie sich selbst orten. Daher ist besonders auf die Rezeption
der Linken in ihren Medien zu achten, in denen sich abgearbeitet wurde.
Es stellt sich dann die Frage ob der Lifestyle-Kulturalismus lediglich
eine Strategie innerhalb veränderter Kulturindustrien darstellt, oder
vermischt er sich mit gesamtgesellschaftlichen Diskursen zu einem
deutlichen Bewußtseinsloop."


Irgendwie habe ich aber den Eindruck, dass solche Erzählungen, die uns ständig nachweisen wollen, dass Subkulturen bereits Bestandteil des Systems sind, auch schon zu dem beklagten "bewussteinsloop" gehören. Da beschleicht einen schon das Gefühl, dass diese Redeweisen Teil selbst des Problem sind. .... Aber ist diese mitunter nicht weniger bornierte Selbstgewissheit ("Da das flexibilisierte Subjekt die Kraft der Negation einbüßt") subversiv?

Trotzdem oder gerade deshalb wird das einjährige Jubiläum am 19. Juni groß gefeiert. Geplant ist ein weltumspannender Global Flash Mob, dessen Fäden von Russland aus gezogen werden. Der Strippenzieher heißt "Dave", ein Kommunikationstechniker aus Moskau.

On June 2, 2004, an activist from Food Not Bombs-Warsaw (Poland) pied the
President of the City, Lech Kaczynski. The pie action was made to protest
Kaczynski's moves to prevent the city's annual gay parade from taking place.

The Parade, which normally takes first on May 1, was not allowed on that
date but the organizers were told they could do it later on in the year.
The gay parade in Krakow, which took place a few weeks after, was attacked
by right wingers. The same right-wingers decided to organize a
demonstration at the same time the Warsaw parade was planned. The
President therefore decided not to allow the parade. The right-wing parade
is to take place as planned although the more militant fascist youth
associated with it has said it may withdraw; anarchists have called an
anti-fascist action for that day.

Several municipal bodies have issued decisions that the parade may take
place, but the President keeps overturning this decision. On June 3, yet
another decision to allow the parade was issued, but it is certain that
the President will reject it again.

In the meanwhile, anonymous activists with lots of money have sent out
mass mailings and encourage people to sign their postcards to ban the gay
parade.

Television stations in Wroclaw and Lodz have also decided to air an
anti-gay commercial made by the most militantly fascist group in Poland,
NOP.

The President Kaczynski has reacted dramatically to his pieing. Upon being
pied, he let loose with a string of threats, calling the people involved
"faggots". He commented that he could tell by the way that they looked
that they were gays. He promised to prosecute the activist who pied him to
the full extent of the law and has come to the unfortunate conclusion that
he was right to ban the trouble-making gays. The FNB activist J. will be
charged not only by Kaczynski but by the district attorney. He faces fines
or up to one year in jail.

It was this that we saw in Brazil in century XX: one of the biggest economic growth models of the world, and yet the third worst distribution of income. Brazil is the development model!

To celebrate the Brazilian success and to expand for the whole world the illusion of the development, we give homage to Mr. Rubens Ricupero of the General Conference of the UNCTAD. While we anxiously await the manifestations that will be oppose the conference in São Paulo, we greet its arrojo, its charisma and its intransigent defense of the poor persons.
