Communication Guerilla Internationalisation Project
Communication Guerilla is an aproach to political articulation. The "Handbuch der Kommunikationsguerilla" pulls together examples, interesting groups and analysis, mainly from Europe and the US, contemporary and from the not so distant past. This manual aims at developing a theory that comes out of practical experiences, designed to feed back into actions.
Although drawing heavily on examples from the English-speaking world and Italy, the original version was published in German, then translated into Spanish by virus editorial and Italian. The communication guerilla website and the KG-blog are mainly in German, but some texts have been written in English.
The Communication Guerilla Internationalisation (or KGi18n?) Project is an experiment, and this website is far from complete. Based on the Twiki content management tool, it provides a platform to collaboratively translate the existing body of text into English (more...). This approach to collaborative translation is common to the opensource/free software community, where sourcecode is being internationalised, i.e. translated into multiple languages by a large number of people using fancy tools like gettext.
In the near future everybody will be wellcome to participate in this project wich is currently under developement.
